Hi, I am Jens. I am passionate about hotel digital marketing & online distribution.
I started DDS Digital in late 2017 with the aim of providing hands-on, digital support to hotels that has a tangible impact. Many times I found that hotels, of different size and shape, were missing out on low hanging fruit to generate more revenue and profit. Money was being left on the table due to knowledge gaps – a result of hoteliers not being able to keep up with a rapidly changing online environment. So with DDS Digital I set out to try to fill that gap; providing solutions that both has a positive impact on the bottom line and the guest experience.
In the last years I’ve worked with everything from small independent countryside hotels to big chain city centre hotels, amusement parks and online travel agents. The common denominator is travel and tourism – in which I have my roots and background. Whether you have an upcoming project or challenge you would like a second opinion on, I am always happy to chat.

During 8 years in various revenue management and distribution roles, I have witnessed first-hand how fast the travel distribution landscape is changing. And if nothing else is certain, the pace of change will continue to accelerate. Partners, distribution models and technology we were working with on a daily basis just a few years ago do not add value anywhere in the supply chain anymore and are considered obsolete. My belief is that spreading a culture that embraces change and exercising agility in seizing the opportunities that arises from that change is what will set you apart from the competition.
Revenue Management and Distribution for some of the biggest hotel brands including Accor, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Hilton, Hyatt and Radisson Hotel Group as well as for some exceptional independently branded properties.
I’ve aquired my Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Marketing from the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), and my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Administration/Management from Hotelschool of The Hague.
I am passionate about leading and inspiring change in travel distribution. Excited about maximising revenue and profitability for hotels and travel companies. Advocate of Net RevPAR and a believer that change is needed in order for hotels to start driving more profitable revenues.
